We offer a range of services to help you become successful on your journey into the construction industry. I.C.C.S. provides contractors with a customizable training program, consisting of options that specialize in a multitude of construction areas. This program upskills employees through the areas of Construction Ready Training, Department of Labor-Certified Apprenticeships, Department Of Labor-Approved On-Job-Training, and Department Of Labor-Certified Bilingual instruction. I.C.C.S Academy is here to make sure you are on the right path. We intentionally recruit trainees who classify as disenfranchised, in order to help you meet all of your diversity, equity, inclusion, and access needs.
Fundamentals of Construction
Our fundamentals of construction course is a 55-hour, asynchronous learning module that is the introductory section of the apprenticeship.
The courses are sequenced to allow students without construction experience, or prior knowledge, to build the fundamental skills necessary to safely enter a construction site.
The industry based certifications we offer are stackable. The OSHA 30 comes after the OSHA 10, and the Hazwoper 40 comes after the OSHA 30. We can tailor it to meet the needs of the student and/or school.
Wraparound Services
Our ICCS Wraparound Program is a solution-based service, that focuses on the whole person. We provide comprehensive, supportive services for all ages and we aim to mitigate barriers to success, by utilizing a cross-system of home-based care. We address issues that make it difficult for the trainees to not only complete their vocational goals, but also prohibit them from having a sustainable career after completion.
Our program designs, and implements, individualized, case-coordination strategies for individuals with emotional, vocational, educational, and behavioral needs. Along with that, our program addresses the socioeconomic factors that influence how trainees think and act.
Apprenticeship
I.C.C.S Academy is a Dept. of Labor approved Registered Apprenticeship Program with two career opportunities (Construction Craft Laborer & Hazardous Materials Handler). We are also Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) approved. In addition to these certifications, we are able to provide other IBC’s through NCCER.

You will receive hands-on training, on-the-job training, and potential college credit towards an associates degree or a bachelor’s degree.
